Old Hollywood Curls with Beauphoria (Bahasa Indonesia) + Review

Hello humans!

Today I’m going to do a requested review on the Beauphoria Automatic Curling Iron. If you want to see this product in action, check out this video on my Indonesian channel J

Background:
So Beauphoria is an automatic curling iron. It has buttons that allows the curling iron to automatically curl either left or right, making it faster and less of hassle for you to curl your hair. Another thing that makes beauphoria unique is the clip. Unlike regular curling irons that has the long tong for clipping your hair, this product has a short knob because it only needs to hold the end of your hair to curl the way.

Packaging:
SO CUTE! The green box that displays the product is to die for! Beauphoria it self looks like a regular curling iron with more buttons. I love its gold detailing though the logo it self looked sort of bland. I also appreciate curling irons that have a hinge so you can safely lay the hot tool on the table without burning anything

Process:
At first this product was super hard to use. You have to get used to only clamping the end of your hair and also figure out whether to let it turn left or right.

One thing that struck me on the first trial was how fast this thing heats up. It only took 10 to 20 seconds to heat up to 200 celcius.

When I tried it at the Beauphoria x Lancome event (which I vlogged about here) a lot of the people in my table didn’t learn how to use it as fast and some found it hard to create more structured curls. The barrel that I have is the large on which is suited for people with thick and long hair. They have 2 other models, the one that looks like a cone for short hair and the smaller barrel for people with thin hair.

You gotta be patient when trying this product. It is not as easy to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be curling your hair in an instant.

I also love how even though it is an automatic curling iron, it did not tangle my hair during the curling process. I tried using babybliss, which is also an automatic curling device, and it hurt! It tangled my hair and ended up pulling it off L But this one does not! If anything, it made my hair smoother. The process was not painful at all.

Result:
The curls lasted for 2 days under Jakarta’s humid weather. In the tutorial I used hair rolls to hold it in place until it cools, and it made the curls stay on way longer. It also did not feel damaging to the hair. The material of the iron does not burn your hair, it heats it up to create curls.

Verdict:
Overall, I am in love with this product (so in love that I just purchased another model of it lol). The only thing I dislike is the learning process hehehe. It took me a while to get used to it and figure out which button to press for which curls. But if you practice enough, you will save a lot of time curling your hair with this baby.

You can purchase your own beauphoria HERE

Verdict:

9/10
