Hello humans! So I was shopping for Indonesian makeup brands the other day and I came across two very similar eyeshadow palettes: La Tullipe Eyeshadow 11 and Inez Eyeshadow Collection in 05 Venice. Since a lot of you guys always asks me for dupes video, here's one! Can you guys tell the difference? Click read more to learn all about it!
PACKAGING:
La Tullipe
(+) La Tullipe's palette is smaller and more compact to bring in your purse
(-) The brush that came with it is not of great quality, and despite having a brush end I still threw it away because of the harsh bristles and shape
Inez
(+) The Inez Eyeshadow comes in a rectangular blue plastic container with a huge mirror, which I always appreciate from a palette
(-) It comes with a sponge tip applicator that I ended up throwing away
(-) Both of the packaging are not as durable and looks cheap (well they are rather cheap)
FORMULATION:
La Tullipe
(+) La Tullipe has pigmented shades that can be layered
(+) The dark shade one is much more intense than that of Inez
(-) Not as easily applied as the colors are not as pigmented as Inez
(-) I'm not sure if La Tullipe shadows are meant to be shimmering or satin. It looks like they were aiming for something shimmering but to me they're satin
(-) not as long lasting as Inez
(-) The gold (bottom left) is not as gold as Inez, it looks more like a light bronze

Inez
(+) The Inez Eyeshadow is very pigmented and easily applied. You can definitely see the intensity of the shimmer.
(+) Blends like butter while still maintaining its color
(+) Pretty long lasting as the color slowly fades in a natural looking way
(-) However, it does have more fall out compared to La Tullipe
(-) When you layer some more (like I tried with La Tullipe) I feel that it creases more
(-) It smudges without primer
COLOR SELECTION:
La Tullipe has a lot more selection of colors which you can check out here
Inez has less selection for their palettes and you can see the options here
APPLICATION
Here is a pictorial of the look I tried using these eyeshadows. For this pictorial I used the Inez palette but since the colors are pretty similar I didn't do a separate one for La Tullipe
1. I've filled in my eyebrows
2. Primed using MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot (I did this for both palettes) and apply the highlighter (Top Left) to the inner corner and brow bone
3. Apply the bronze color (Top Left) to the outher half of the lid
4. Apply the gold color (Bottom Left) to the inner half of the lid
5. Blend into the crease with a fluffy brush
6. Apply the darkest shade (Bottom Right) into the crease with a tapered blending brush
7. Apply the bronze (Top Left) all along the lower lash line
8. Apply the dark brow (Bottom Right) on the outer corner of the lower lash line and blend into the bronze
9. Apply mascara
Here I did one eye with La Tullipe Eyeshadow Palette No. 11 and the other with Inez Eyeshadow Collection in 05 Venice.
Brows are Silky Girl Natural Brow Pencil in Dark Brown (REVIEW SOON)
Lashes are Blink Charm in Sexy Volume No. 1 (REVIEW SOON)
RESULTS
- You can see that the contour is much more intense with La Tullipe
- But Inez has better shimmering colors
- The Inez side is also better blended than the La Tullipe side
- La Tullipe's is more muted and more for an everyday look
VERDICT
Most Compact - La Tullipe
Best Packaging - Inez
Best Color Pay Off - Inez
Most Blendable - Inez
Most Long-lasting - Inez
Least Fall Out - La Tullipe
Best Color Selection - La Tullipe
So all in all, I score these palettes
La Tullipe - 7/10
Inez - 8.5/10
What do you think? :)
