PAC Matte Lipstick in Indian Red REVIEW (Sponsored Post)

Hello humans! This is the last of the 3 PAC Cosmetics product review from the #BBMEETUP event at Senayan City on February 12th, 2015. And its something I never tried before! PACKAGING:

(-) The black box… Do I have to go over this again?

(+) The packaging is actually pretty sleek. I love the contrast of shiny silver chrome with matte black handles :)

(-) You have to open the product to actually see the color (I know its a small thing, but this actually seals the deal for me :p)

FORMULATION:

(+) It doesn’t dry you out, which is the biggest concern of a matte lipstick.

(-) But you do need to scrub and moisturize your lips before applying it or else it will just emphasize the little cracks on your lips

Here I used the lipstick on my lips (without scrubbing and moisturizing) and on my cheeks as blush. You can see that it emphasizes the cracks, especially on the center of my lips. But the color is to die for!

(+) It glides on pretty smoothly on the lips and it is not hard to blend with a lip brush

(+) Very creamy. I used it as a blush and the color was not hard to blend yet still visible

(+) IT SMELLS LIKE SUGAR. No, really it does.

COLOR:

(+) OPAQUE BABY! I love how this color is a darker pink that looks sophisticated yet soft.

(+) It is a nice brown shade that complements a lot of asian skintones. Especially if you have a tan, this will not make you look pale or burnt out.

OVERALL:

I actually genuinely like this lipstick. Like, really! Now I’m thinking of buying other colors and formulas because this one turned out to be pretty fantastic! Considering the quality, I think the price is a good bargain.
