Hello humans! So
after making my Holiday Wish List post, which you can check out here, I managed
to go to Mecca Maxima and purchase a couple of things from the holiday
collections. Two of which are from NARS. I’m talking about the NARS Tech
Fashion and Digital World. If you want to see these amazing babies, click read

Packaging:
Standard Nars
Packaging for both. Except for Digital World which has a separate clear
container inside the box that looks oh-so-cute! Fyi, NARS Tech Fashion consists
of 4 Deluxe Size Brilliant Lip Gloss. Whereas the NARS Digital World has 5
Deluxe Size Lip Pencil; 2 Velvet Matte and 3 Satin
NARS Tech Fashion:
The shades in this
pack ranges from number I to IV (where are the cute names NARS???) They have
excellent finishes, with sparkling bits of glitter in them. Pigmentation in
nice considering it is a gloss and feels very hydrating on the lips. However,
since I am not much of lipgloss person, this product does feel a little bit
heavy on and does not lasts for quite long.
NARS Digital World:
Out of the two NARS
packages I got, this one has got to be my favourite. The shades provided are
super wearable and ranges from nudes, pinks to vavavoom red. The satin lip
pencils are Torres Del Paine, Descanso and Yu. OMG I love Descanso, it’s a
great nude color. Yu is a great fuschia shade because it is more neutral hence
more wearable. Both of the Velvet Matte Lip Pencils are different shades of
red. We haved Iberico, which is the most pigmented of the five, and may I say
bright as fire? And Cruella, a darker burgundy shade that does remind me of
Cruella De Vil.
I have always been a
fan of the Velvet Matte Lip Pencils because it is long lasting and does not dry
off my lips like most matte lip products. The Satin ones are nice for everyday
use, although I feel that it was a little bit oily. Nevertheless, thanks to
those oils, it lasts for quite some time.
Verdict:
I am happy with my
purchase. Because I like buying things bulk so I wont have to go shopping
again, these babies are perfect. Especially if you want to try out NARS lip
products for the first time, you have an excellent color selection in both
packages and with better worth for your money than if you were to buy each of
them individually.
