Hellooooo humans! So as I said in my previous video, this is a side swept hair tutorial that I wore in my DRUGSTORE Prom Makeup Tutorial (check it out down below ;)) This glamorous hair look is perfect for those wanting a seductive yet put together look :) I'm not an expert in hair, but hopefully this tutorial can help you guys a bit :)
STEP BY STEP LIST
1. Make sure that your hair is clean
2. Brush through your hair to get rid of any knots or tangles
3. Apply a heat protectant. I used Garnier Fruictis Sleek and Shine Heat Protectant Cream.
4. Section of the top 2/3 of your hair and clip it away
5. With a 38mm curling iron, mine is from VS Sassoon, curl 1" sections of the lower half of your hair in one direction.
* If you want a right side swept, curl the hair on the left side of your face away from your face and the one on the right towards your face.
6. Release the section of hair from the curling iron after 20 seconds
7. Curl it back in place with your fingers.
8. Pin the curls into place with bobby pins.
9. Release the 2nd half of your hair, but clip away the top 1/3 of your hair
10. Curl this half in the same way as you did with the lower half of hair but with a smaller curling iron, mine is 25mm from VS Sassoon
11. Release the last section of hair and curl it in the opposite direction to what you did with the previous 2 layers.
12. After the curls have cooled release and sweep all your hair to one side.
